Officers Save Victims From Fire That Destroyed Victorian Home In Perth Amboy

Two officers were injured in a fire that raced through a historic home in Perth Amboy on Wednesday, July 3.

The fire was reported at the structure at 61 Water St., at approximately 5:30 p.m.

The NJ State PBA said officers rescued residents from the third and fourth floors of the home. 

Local resident and historian John Kerry Dyke said the home, called the Noe House, was built in 1872.
